We invite you to experience Camp Lake James an incredible lakeside adventure center NC in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains -- 45 minutes east of Asheville. Our new Annual Recreational License offers you and your family a new opportunity to enjoy all The Camp has to offer.

Whether you’re looking for a place to hike through lush forests, kayak on clear mountain waters, challenge family and friends to a game of horseshoes, camp under the stars, make s’mores around the fire or just read a good book by the pool, your time at Camp Lake James will help you build memories you’ll cherish forever.

All property owners in the 1780 and Old Wildlife Club communities are automatically members of Camp Lake James, and we offer two licenses for non-property owners:

Lifetime Recreational License
• $25,000 initiation fee
• 2010 dues are $1650 per year
• Non-revocable Recreational License

Annual Recreational License
• No initiation fee
• 2010 dues are $2000 per year
• Runs for 12 months and may be revoked when they expire.
