At the heart of The Camp is the Social Hall, where family and friends can gather and enjoy the mountain air. Summers are filled with pool-side parties, and lazy autumn evenings swapping stories around a campfire. Enjoy your favorite sandwhich and drink at our Canteen while playing a game of checkers with your next-door neighbor.
One of the highlights of the camp is the pool, which is heated to allow for an extended swimming season. Our pool facilities will also include a hot-tub and interactive children’s pool.
Camp Lake James members are encouraged to take advantage of a fitness center with state-of-the-art cardio and weight training equipment. An outdoor yoga area and tennis courts are also available for members.
Our Activities Director will plan programs for the whole family- summer camps for the kids, movie nights in our outdoor amphitheater and holiday parties are just a few of the activities you’ll be able to enjoy. Mountain craft classes like wood carving and basket weaving will also be offered, helping to keep the traditions of nearby mountain communities alive.
